Eugene F. Myers, 79, died on September 6, 2017 at the Courville Communities nursing facility in Manchester. He was born on November 11, 1937 in Manchester, NH, the son of William Myers and Irene (Coulomb) Myers. Eugene was the husband of Judith (Simpson) Myers of 38 years, who preceded him in death in February 1995.

Gene was a long time resident of Goffstown, NH and also Manchester, NH working as a service technician for Putnam Fuel Company after owning his own service station early in his working career. After, leaving the oil business Gene became a key maintenance mechanic at Moore Business Forms in Manchester, for over 20 years. During his years in Goffstown, while raising his family, he was a dedicated volunteer fireman at the Church Street fire station. Gene had a passion for fishing and could often be found angling to bring in that elusive rainbow or brown trout.

Gene is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Myers Ferendo and husband Richard of Manchester and Donna Myers Katz and husband Peter of Concord, 5 grandchildren, Nicole Ferland, Jonathan Ferland and wife Nichole, Kevin Ferendo and wife April, Patrick Ferland and wife Renee, and Anthony Ferendo, as well as 6 great grandchildren Callissa, Alexander, Amelia, Lyla, Sofia and Henri. Also, a brother and sisters, William Myers, Elizabeth (Myers) Dionne, Virginia Myers, and Natalie Myers, all of Manchester.

Visitation will be held Sunday September 10, 2017 from 4 pm to 6 pm at French and Rising Funeral Home at 17 South Mast Street in Goffstown, a memorial service held in the funeral home Monday September 11, 2017 at 10 am followed by burial at Mount Calvary cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Boston Children's Hospital 401 Park Drive Suite 602, Boston, MA 02115 or to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at 87 McGregor Street, Manchester NH 03102
