Roberta Friedrich Cram, age 93, of Goffstown, NH, passed on peacefully May 8, 2019, after a lengthy illness.

Roberta was born April 21, 1926 in Greenfield, NH. She grew up in New Boston, NH, graduating from New Boston High School in 1944 and Hesser College in 1946. Roberta was a lifelong member of the Community Church of New Boston and past member of the Church Circle and Grange.

Early in her career Roberta was a bookkeeper at Grenier Air Force Base and Daniels Garage. Later she became a self-employed interior decorator, as well as assisting her husband, Bill, in home construction and renovation projects.

Roberta volunteered at VNA Childcare for ten years, where she made over 200 nap mat covers, clothing and blankets for the children. Over the years, she volunteered for other projects, making numerous quilts, stuffed animals and other craft items which she donated to local charities.

In addition to being an avid seamstress, Roberta loved traveling and all kinds of sports. She and her husband traveled to all the United States, except Hawaii, 6 Canadian Provinces, and Mexico. They wintered in Florida and Arizona for many years, enjoying retirement.

Roberta is survived by her children, Neal Cram of Raphine, Virginia, Donna Cram of Goffstown, New Hampshire, a grandson, Brian Cram of Virginia, siblings Alice Goodwin and Henry (Alma) Friedrich of New Hampshire and Florida, Sylvia Hook of South Carolina, and sister-in-law Helen Rutherford of New Hampshire, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Bill, her husband of 62 years, in 2008, sisters Billy Proctor, Josephine Miller and Nan Friedrich Whipple, and her parents, Henry and Florence Blanchard Friedrich.

Per her request, there will be no services. The family will gather for a private celebration of her life at a later date. Her ashes will be scattered from atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia to help the wild flowers grow. If you wish to remember her, do it with a kind word or deed.
